This question seems to suggest a form of a rhetorical device because Weisel states that while indifference is much easier than close actions, it is still non necessarily right. With this form of contradiction it seems to sustain the audience start to realize that indifference is wrong and sh! ould not be expected. Wiesels uses of talking to in this speech were meant to anger, upset, and arouse the audience into action of some sort.
